General Neuro-developmental Assessment Clinic

Overview

We offer holistic, comprehensive paediatric neurodevelopmental profiling for children under the age of 6 years and help understand and support children’s unique developmental paths.

Process:
Stage 1: Pre-assessment involves gathering child’s current function and wellbeing through questionnaire-based information from carers, schools, and other professionals, such as speech and language therapy services.

Stage 2: A consultation with parents or carers to gather detailed information about the child’s health needs, social wellbeing, and educational progress.

Stage 3: A face-to-face assessment of the child involving a multidisciplinary team.

Outcome: Discussion of assessment outcome and our recommendations.
We will aim to issue a full assessment report within 10 days.

Stage 3: Clinical assessment of the child based on NICE guidance using standardised assessment tools, such as 3DI and ADOS-2 scales. We provide face-to-face clinical assessments at a clinic conveniently located near the child’s home address.

Outcome: Discussion with parents or carers about the assessment outcome and detailed recommendations.
We aim to issue a full assessment report within 10 days.

Stage 4: Standardised assessment of the child by our Consultant Pediatrician. We provide face-to-face clinical assessments at a clinic conveniently located near the child’s home address.

Outcome: A comprehensive discussion of the assessment outcome with parents and provision of tailored recommendations, followed by a detailed report within 10 days.
